Dennis.jpgDennis began his career over 40 years ago working as a retail broker for H. Ross Perot and Dean Witter and held senior positions at Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns.  In addition to his retail experience, Dennis has worked on the institutional side of the business in the fixed income department; as a compliance officer, an investment banker and assistant office manager. 

Since 1989 Dennis has been the principal shareholder of Sweetwater Investments, a registered investment advisor. Sweetwater is dedicated to serving its clients by helping them plan and achieve their financial goals.

Dennis is a cum laude graduate of Parsons College with degrees in Sociology, History and Psychology. His graduate studies at the University of Chicago were interrupted by his military service, including a tour to Vietnam.

Dennis has frequently testified before both the Congressional House and Senate on investment-related matters as well as to the Securities and Exchange Commission.  He has been a guest commentator on CNBC and hosted a radio show with 9 million listeners.

In his spare time Dennis enjoys fly fishing, opera, good conversation and sipping scotch by a warm fire with a good book and his dog.

Kim Miller
Kim.jpgKim began his career in financial services  in 1982 as a consultant to public school teachers and has a broad range of experience in investments, insurance and all facets of financial planning.  

He held senior positions including Vice President, General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, Municipal Securities Principal and Chief Compliance Officer at his previous firms.

Kim volunteers his time as a member of the Bayview Manor Foundation board which oversees an investment portfolio managed for the benefit of the residents of Bayview Retirement Community in Seattle.

Kim joined Sweetwater Investments in April, 2007 as a Financial Advisor.

Kim graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Ethnomusicology.  He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®) designations.  He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, a professional association that promotes the financial planning process.

In his spare time Kim enjoys playing the guitar, writing music, riding his bike and traveling with his wife.
